The newsletter of the old aggie players

April 9, 1995:  Number 2

Again, already?

Whoomp. Here it is. I know you didn’t ask for it, but tough.

Fine Arts, anyone?

A&M needs a fine arts college. Third largest university in the nation, no fine arts college. All the other schools in the A&M system have them, just not the big one. Why not?

Who will help me build a production database?

I think I’ll just make a list of everything I can find. Who can help me find stuff? Copies of programs is the most important thing. After that would be a copy of a rehearsal schedule. Any production ever would be just fine.

Can he spell "Brumley?"

Geez, I’m so sorry. I can’t believe that I did that. Vicky, please forgive me. I’ll perform an act of contrition. Dammit Jim, I’m an actor, not a speller.

Volunteer, ok?

We need to do several things: establish an Aggie Players Library; speak as a group to the university administration - supporting the Aggie Players as a production arm of the Theater Arts section; and give people a place where they can look the rest of us up. Nobody volunteered yet.

That's the news.  Inside, you will find the following ...
