The image below shows the four teams in the AL West. When they win, their graph goes up, and when they lose, it goes down. The lines and markers are colored with that team's colors, or at least colors that they had at one time recently. That stuff is changing a lot these days.
The scale on the left is the number of games that team is above or below .500 ball, where the wins equal the losses. The scale at the bottom is the number of games played in the season. The race is more interesting all the time.
